The key though to any amusement park is to actually get on the ride. You will never experience the thrill or the gut wrenching turns unless you risk enough to experience the rush. Part 3 -Jason Currie
Obstacles. We want to avoid them. Walk any bush path and the reason for its course is its avoidance of obstacles. It’s why we follow them, around boulders, on flatter areas, longer but easier. The easy path is the one we follow but every now and then the path has to become hard. The river needs to be crossed, the hill cannot be avoided. You have to go over, through or under. It’s not easy but it’s necessary. What if there are times when we need to face our obstacles instead of living to avoid them.
Pentecost – Kyle Goodwin
Jesus’ ministry started as the Holy Spirit came down on Him after his baptism. This ‘life-giving’ ministry was lived out with the Holy Spirit. This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost where the same Holy Spirit was poured out on 120 believers. That same Spirit lives in us, so what should life in the Holy Spirit look like. A life like Jesus is a life in the Holy Spirit.
